Sodium Chlorate Generator. The results show that the influence of brine concentration and brine flow on the generator operation effect of unipolar electrode and bipolar electrode is the same, and the current density has different effects on the operation effect of unipolar electrode and bipolar electrode, but the difference is small; The effect of bipolar electrodes is better than that of unipolar electrodes. It is recommended to use bipolar electrode sodium hypochlorite generators as much as possible for disinfection of water plants to reduce operating costs.
The influence trend of brine concentration on the operation effect of unipolar electrode and bipolar electrode generators is the same. The concentration has good linearity with available chlorine concentration, salt consumption and AC power consumption respectively.
The effect of current density on the operation effect of unipolar electrode and bipolar electrode is different, but the difference is small. For unipolar electrode generators, with the increase of current density, the effective chlorine concentration tends to increase, and the salt consumption tends to decrease, but the AC power consumption increases, and the current density is respectively related to the effective chlorine concentration and salt consumption. , AC power consumption has a good linearity, and the correlation coefficients are all greater than 0.92; for bipolar electrodes, when the current density is 20A/dm2, the concentration of available chlorine has the highest value, and the AC power consumption and salt consumption also have the lowest value at the same time.
