New Technology of Water Treatment Electrolysis Sterilization-Titanium Anode

With the development of industry, the pollution of water sources by various organic substances has increased. The traditional chlorination method of water supply system has been found to form harmful substances to the human body.Therefore, the study of new alternative sterilization methods has increasingly become a hot spot and important development direction of domestic and foreign research.


The existing commercial electric disinfection water processors are mostly electrolytically produced chlorine dioxide and sodium hypochlorite after adding electrolytes such as sodium chloride.

Shaanxi Geerwork Metal Material Co., Ltd. adopts its own core technology, insoluble titanium anode material, and has developed a new type of electrolytic sterilizer, which can achieve the effect of sterilization and algae elimination without affecting the water quality. At present, water treatment and sterilization generally adopt the oxidative disinfection method of adding chlorine or chloride to the water. However, it has been found that chlorination disinfection can cause carcinogenic, teratogenic, and mutagenic substances in drinking water. Electrolysis is popular as a sterilizing water treatment technology with good sterilization effect, strong usability and no secondary pollution.


The modern view of chlorine bactericidal action is mainly through HClO. When HClO molecules reach the inside of the bacteria, they can oxidize and destroy the enzyme system of the bacteria and cause the bacteria to die. The final products of oxidation are CO2 and H2O. Therefore, even in the case of continuous use of chlorine, it will not make bacteria resistant to drugs.
